My Skincare Routine
I receive numerous emails requesting I share my skincare + make-up routines...so today I am doing just that.
When it comes to skincare, I primarily stick to 2 favorite brands: Kiehl's + Mario Badescu.
Both are gentle, affordable and effective. I've been a long-time lover of Kiehl's, however only recently discovered Mario Badescu's line after reading an article about Martha Stewart's skin care favorites. It turns out that Martha has been a loyal fan of his skincare products for over 20 years! And have you seen her skin?!
I'd love to hear about any "must own" skin products you adore! Leave them in the comments below...

PS - I'll be sharing my favorite make-up picks this Thursday!

I am so glad to hear that you use Mario Badescu as well. I am ALWAYS promoting their stuff. I used to have troubled skin and their products were the only thing that worked!
I use coconut oil as my moisturizer now. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the oil..it has soooo many benefits, you should read up on it!

@ Sheree - Aren't Mario Badescu's products amazing? I just love that they are also affordable...not an easy thing to find in the skincare industry!
And I will definitely look into coconut oil. Thanks for the recommendation!

I have combination skin, which has made it very hard to find a good skin care line; one would dry out the dry areas of my face, while the next would leave the oily parts shining..!
Now, I use Clarins. It's crazy because I can't really afford it (I'm a student), but their Hydra Drench cream has done wonders for my face.
Sadly, I don't think they have Kiehl's or Mario Badescu here in Germany..!
I'm loving Dr. Murad's pomegranate moisturizer and Clinique's All About Eyes and their Antioxidant night serum.

I love Origins. They are natural and are gentle on your skin. Bareminerals also has a skin cleansing line that i like. The Body Shop has a natural exfoliator and mask that work great and are also natural.

I always have troubles with finding a perfect skin product, according to beautiful reviews I should switch to these products a long time ago!
Thank you for sharing!

Although I don't purchase Kiehl's I do use the shampoo / conditioner and body lotion at my gym and it's a great product ! I love ORIGINS night-a-mins for a yummy, gentle nighttime moisturizer and I use GIN-ZING under the eyes during the day.
Not Going Out Like That
I love the Clinique 3-step skincare line. I have slightly sensitive skin and nothing for me has worked better.
I recently started using Dr. Jart+ Beauty Balm. It provides surprisingly good coverage and feels very lightweight. Better than any other BB creams I've sampled so far.

I prefer cosmetics without parabens (and SLS, if possible). I love Paula's Choice 2% BHA exfoliant lotion, I highly recommend it, it works wonders on my sensitive skin. I also love Clinique (esp. cityblock and the redness solution moisturizer). And (a big surprise) the Garnier oil-free BB cream works quite well for me.
I've been wanting to try out Kiehl's avocado eye cream for the longest time!! Really need to go buy some. :)

Thank you for posting this, I just ordered 2 of them!
This post inspired to give Mario a try. I got all the basics--cleanser, moisturizer, night cream, and eye cream-- for a very reasonable price (especially considering the quality). It's only been two days but I swear I can already see a difference in the look and feel of my skin. I'm obsessed!
I am looking for a routine for my sensitive skin. I have heard good things about Kiehl's so I will give it a shot. Thanks for the detailed post!
