How To: Easy Fall Layering

Sweater dress - H&M (available in stores)
Wedge booties - Dolce Vita
Tights - Nordstrom
Cardigan - Nordstrom
Scarf - H&M
Necklace - t+j Designs
Trench - GAP
Hat - August via Nordstrom

As the weather turns, you'll want to be prepared.  Layering is the easiest way to address the unpredictable weather this time of year.  Keeping a few accessories on hand (scarf, cardigan, etc.) will help you look pulled together (not to mention let you wear your warmer weather looks longer!)

Love this post!

No huge explanations, just a quick slideshow and voila! Well done. Also, these all happen to be things I own and have while abroad. Definitely gonna try this out...

Thanks Marion!

Love it, Marion! I have that same exact sweater from H&M. Great minds think alike! Now, I just need the temps to drop below 90 so I can wear it! xx

Love that you showed both looks. I fully intend to do this, to carry some of my dresses into the fall and winter!

This post is so cute! I love each phase of the outfit and it does such a great jopb of illustrating how to layer successfully. You can make something look like a totally new outfit with some layers and you definitely showed that here!

You are just darling...lvoe when you show us your style tips! I like all black legs/shoes with dresses in the winter, it's a great contrast, extra warmth, and makes your legs look so long!

Hm, I now wonder where the "adding" actually took place....
Just grabbing this chance to let you know, it's always a pleasure to browse through your posts, pictures and words. The pregnancy suits you very well! And referring to previous posts about your 'issues' with being mom, I strongly believe that your insticts will tell you whats right. Just give them a chance and do NOT read too many books on the subject.
Thank you and keep up the good work!

Layering is my ultimate fave-it's so convenient for those 'in between' days when it's not too hot yet not too cold. Great post-I'm sure this took lots of time to put together.
