Weekend Wear

I included this photo even though it's super cheesy.
Cheesy is what I do.

Skirt - Bobeau (similar HERE)
Hat - Nordstrom (Similar HERE)
Shirt - Threads for Thought
Sunnies - Tory Burch
Heels - Steve Madden
Bag - Fossil

The husband had his golf clubs stolen.  From the airport.  As a former professional golfer, this has been beyond traumatic for him and he has spent this past week knee-deep in the grieving process.

Just imagine if all of your shoes + bags were stolen...you would be pretty upset, right?  I used this analogy to help empathize with him.  I think he appreciated the effort at least :)

So what do his stolen golf clubs have to do with this outfit?  Well, this is what I wore this weekend when we ran errands.  One of those errands included four (yes...four) hours at the PGA Superstore supporting my husband as he tried out new golf clubs.  I am a good wife.

Have you ever had anything stolen?  It really is an awful feeling...

Happy Monday!
XO - Marion

you look gorgeous!!! and oh my gosh, marion. i totally sympathize with your husband. i, actually, in a previous life, was a quasi-pro golfer. i played from age 2-18 and my golf clubs are custom made for me - so even now, even now that i don't play ALL the time but i still play enough, i would be DEVASTATED if my clubs were stolen. that really stinks. tell him i feel his pain!! so sorry!!!

Geez, what is wrong with these airlines! My girlfriend just had her diamond earrings stolen on her flight back from her honey moon!!! So sorry for your hubby, I can totally relate after the way you phrased it. I would be totally depressed if my shoes, bags or clothes were stolen :-( You're such a good wife for standing by his side at the PGA Superstore. Hopefully he'll find replacements quickly.

Is it weird that the thought of having all of my shoes stolen kind of excites me? It would be the prefect reason to start all over and shop, shop, shop!

Cute outfit, love the hat on you!

Oh no, how awful! People are shameless. You're a very patient wife for golf-club shopping with him :) You looked cute while doing it too!

Oh my word, how horrible! I can't believe they were stolen in an airport?! I totally understand how that works...I used to be a professional ballet dancer and had some of my stuff stolen from my dance bag once. It's crushing since you practically have a relationship with the tools of your trade...you really love how they work for you. You're a great wife to help him replace those valuable goods :)

fun and having fun! you are so cute and always classic. sorry for the hubby. 4 hours for new clubs??? you are a good wife, a VERY good wife!!!! When in college, my grandmothers cameo necklace was stolen. she had passed it down to me, it was a gift on her 12th birthday from her father.....could never be replaced, though my hubby found an antique and had a jeweler make the setting identical. i wear it often! have a great week at school, love ya.

WOW! That must have been hard for him! UG. I imagine as a professional golfer those were not hand me down/cheap clubs either. You are a good wifey going with him! :) Maybe they will show up? Maybe he just didn't see them at the airport and they will call as they magically appear? anyway, love this outfit!

Ugh, I hate that United wasn't able to get them back for him! I can't imagine how frustrating that would be - makes me feel like my 24 hour delay was nothing. And yes, you are a very sweet wife for golf club shopping.

Excited about the link up!

How awful! :( That sucks and such horrible people out there that steal things. I had a couple hundred dollars stolen from inside my wallet, in my purse, in my room when I was at a resort in Mexico. They left just enough in there to make me not notice until I got home and realized that I had a lot less in my wallet than I had started with! It just made me feel so awful knowing that it was somebody that had access to my room (it had to have been a housekeeper or somebody that has keys to rooms) and would take advantage of their guests like that.

On another note, you look fabulous!
