Trend of the Month Link-Up: Statement Necklaces

Baby bump at almost 20 weeks!

Dress: H&M
Necklace: J.Crew (Thanks Tira!)
Clutch - Nordstrom
Heels - BCBG

I love that a statement necklace like this one can transform a simple inexpensive dress (that retails for $12.95!) into something a little more special.  It's kinda like that saying about putting lipstick on a pig.  Except this dress isn't a pig.  But you get what I'm saying...right? :)

And now...time to link-up your statement necklace looks!

RULES:
1. Link to your specific blog post...not your blog's main page.
**Must be a NEW blog post specific to this challenge...old posts will be deleted.**
2. Link back to Marionberry Style.

Be sure to visit other cool bloggers who linked-up their styles!
Stay tuned next month when we announce the next trend!

Love the neutral heels with the statement necklace and the color of your dress is perfect too! I love your blog design too, it looks SO pro!

so pretty! love the baby bump in that dress and the stunning necklace that pulls everything together.
i am unfortunately allergic to everything non-precious metal and can't wear most statement necklaces unless i want to pay a fortune for them. oh well!

I am really, really looking forward to your preggo style, Marion. This silhouette is so fitting for you right now, I love that it's still lady-like, but it's comfy looking and so perfectly transitional (bare legs- love!). You're a peach, my dear.

For all of the stylish reasons I completely “get” the statement necklace trend — a statement necklace is bold, beautiful, and packs a serious wardrobe punch.
