I wore this for date night this weekend. The husband said I looked like a "beautiful bruise." This from the same guy who saw my sweater from Friday's post and exclaimed "Did you get that from Pat Benatar's closet?!"

I just started reading your blog (I am a big fan of J's Everyday Fashion) and I love your style! Has anyone every told you that you look like a much-prettier Jackie O? Especially when you wear your hair pulled back. The photos of the hot-pink top/striped skirt combo just scream Jackie O in Greece in the 70s - you even have her hairstyle down pat! Oh my god.. All the hubby's of the world must have the same book. Mine has said that to me as well when I have worn black and blue. The Pat B. comment made me giggle I must admit.
Love how this is almost a cross between colour blocking and ombre! Super fun and such perfect colours...I love the mix of cobalt and black.
