Turquoise + Camel

STYLE TIP:  Wearing brighter, complimentary colors near your face (or upper half) makes people look at your face more.  The bottom half of my body is covered in a neutral camel...which makes the top half pop!

Top - Splendid
Shorts - Trouve (similar here)
Heels - Tahari
Earrings - Ana Accessories
Clutch - H&M

I recently purchased this top and it quickly became one of my favorites.  It came in a variety of gorgeous colors...so it was hard to pick just one.  But the husband was present so I practiced self-control.  But between you and me, I will be going back to get the "almond" and "lemoncello" colors!

XO - Marion

PS - Um, honey...if you are reading this.  I'm totally kidding.

Linking up with Monday Mingle today!

Great tip on wearing color. As always you look stunning. And I've started self-editing my shopping talk on my blog because my husband has busted me several times! ;)

I get a lot of "Is that new?"

What a perfect color on you! You should definitely go back and get the other two colors. It's such a versatile top - you'll get tons of use out of them! (Ok, trying to help you out here...)

I LOVE this color combo. I also like how your shorts and shoes match your leg color! (that's not supposed to sound creepy, but it does look good!) I would have to find some interesting shade of pale&pink nude heels to pull of this look!

What a beautiful color on you! I don't know how you managed to buy just one. The almond color sounds gorgeous, can't wait to see how you style it!

That top is H.O.T. But I'm not exactly curvy so not sure it would work on me, but it suits you (buy more when they go on sale). Thanks for sharing on Monday Mingle and have a great week. xoxo Nicole

I love this shirt! I think I am going to order it online -- what size did you end up getting? I am trying to decide whether or not I should get an x-small or a small?

Ashley said...

You look beautiful in that color!

Marion Green said...

@ Jenna - You'll love it...such a versatile shirt. And I purchased a size small (I'm 5'6" and 120 lbs.). I did try on the x-small as well and thought it could have worked as well...but just went for a little more of a blous-y look. :)
I hope you like it!
