For some reason, I have a difficult time determining what qualifies as "coral." I was at Nordstrom looking for a coral top and came across this super cozy T-shirt from Stem. I carried it up to a few sales people and the following exchange took place:
Me: "Do you think this color is coral?"
Nordstrom gal: "Yes. But I guess it could also be a shade of pink... What color do you want?"
Me: "Coral."
Nordstrom gal: "I think it's definitely a coral."
Random lady walking by: "Looks sorta red to me."
Looks like I'm not the only one! Can't wait to see all the great coral + mint looks in today's Bloggers Do it Better link-up!

Coral is a tough one to pin down - I think most people think of a very deep, rich colour. For the challenge I wore an actual coral necklace, which is a very pale colour. I like what you've put together.
And I love your style challenge for this month! I just picked up two bright blazers!

I feel the same way about both mint and coral - there are so many shades that qualify! I take a relaxed approach to it - if it's in the same ballpark, I think it counts :) Great work-appropriate combo of mint and coral, btw, it's subdued but still fun! And I can't wait for the colorful blazers challenge, I just posted about how much I love colorful blazers a few weeks ago!
I love these two colors together, so soft and pretty! I think coral is a combination of pink and orange, so I'd probably classify your top as a shade of pink.
Would you believe I don't own any color blazers? I only have black and white!

I also have a hard time defining coral. Apparently so does the dictionary: "A deep or strong pink to moderate red or reddish orange." Strangely enough if you search google images for "coral color" the images that turn up are almost identical in hue. Odd!! Anyway, I'd definitely say this top is coral. And I love this mint skirt!

I think mint and coral are a darling combination for summer. I love how subtle the colors are in your outfit - not overwhelming or crazy, just right. I think that's how most conversations with salespeople go. I think that shirt qualifies at coral though - maybe a muted, dusty coral. Either way, it's lovely!
