I'm gonna guess the bad news since I think you're all reasonable people and reasonable people always choose bad news first.
Bad news: I don't have any photos for Casual Friday this week. As many of you know, this guy ate my camera:
He looks so innocent when he's sleeping (and yes...he's sleeping on our kitchen table. I came home from working out and this is what I found. So bloody naughty...but I just love him).
Good News: My husband bought me a new camera! Here is my new baby...yay!
Moments of the Week
Giddy Moment:
I rarely eat sugar. But when I do...this is the face I apparently make:
Geesh...I take the term "cheeseball" to a whole new level here!
Moment of Celebration:
My husband turned 1 year older this week! I threw him a golf-themed party (he was a former pro) and couldn't resist featuring some fun cupcakes...
And yes...I am about 99% sure that I made the same cheeseball face when I ate a cupcake...
We went out for dinner the next evening to celebrate just the two of us.
I love my husband.
Competitive Moment:
Much of my job includes playing games with kids. It's a great way to build rapport and have fun together...except I am super competitive by nature. I'm fine losing every now and then. In fact, I often lose on purpose just because it's appropriate when playing against a child. But I have a problem...
But then there's a 2nd grader whom I'll refer to as "Lucky." Lucky.Always.Wins. Even when I am seriously trying my best.
Well, Lucky and I play Jenga every week...and I've never won. Not even once. The worst part? Him winning this week and looking at me with a serious face and asking the following, "Don't you get tired of losing?"
He then suggested Candy Land as a game that might prove more successful for me.
Awesome. Especially coming from someone who's mom still cuts the crust off his bread.

I love your moments of the week! They always give me a good giggle! I never get to interact with kids (we're DINKs, no neices / nephews, no friends with kids, and my job is not kid-related) so it's fun to hear your stories!
I never win at Jenga either!!! I'm to excitable and not still enough. Candy Land would be my game of choice because it's completely mindless game...although my 3 year old and I get into heated discussion about which color is red and which is orange. Maybe it's just my box but they look almost identical. He is also too smart for his own good. Once he pulled a card and said "oh...blue square"...and moved WAY ahead of where he should have. I said "honey...you have to move the the NEXT blue square"...which happened to be on a curve. He says "no mom...that's not a square...that's a trapezoid." smart little expletive....check it out...they are trapezoids. Anyway...long story short....Candy Land can turn into a duel of the MINDS if you want it to ;)
And yay for your camera!! But you looks beautiful in any picture...even the cell phone ones!!!

Oh my gosh, I have a beagle (mix) too, and they're crazy but so adorable! Mine gets away with everything. He is the biggest ham and he sleeps exactly like that too! (I call it sausage mode, because his little tummy is just laying there like a sausage. Maybe I've thought about this too much?) That is the most adorable thing that he sleeps on the table but so not cool about the camera! However, I LOVE your new one!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

our cats love the table..kitchen counter, sink, any and all furniture....we're bad pet parents, never taught them no-no!!! Is there anything else palmer needs to chew on, since hubby is in a buying mood????lol.

@ Karen - Thanks girl...glad you like my little moments :) And I don't really have many tips on camera shopping. I did a ton of research and found out which cameras many of my favorite bloggers use. Seems as though most bloggers live/die by Canon...so that was an easy choice. Then it was just a matter of features and price :)
