Dress and Belt - Forever 21 (Available in-stores only)
Shoes - Nine West
The worst part? He wasn't the only student who asked if I was wearing my pajamas! Considering that a large number of my kid's parents are wearing their ACTUAL pajamas when they drop them off at school, I am not too sure how to respond to these questions except to just laugh :-)
So honestly - do I need to put this dress in the back corner of my closet?!

OMG, kids are so funny. How could they think this was PJ"s you're wearing such a cute leather belt. hehe. You look great and I love your school style.
PS I've been hearing all about the kids wearing pjs to school these days. SO random. haha

Oh you have such great blog, keep it up! :)
Following.
Keep the dress around. I was a teacher for two years. Kids say the craziest things.
Funny! I like the dress. It's cute. I would wear it. I teach 1st grade and no matter what I show up in I get complements. First graders are very very easy to impress. Maybe you need a grade level change. Just kidding. Really, though, I like the dress. I am pinning it.
I love your style but the dress is a little Little House on the Prairie-ish/pjs
LOL! No you do not....kids associate patterns with pajamas all the times. They are sooo hilarious! Cute look!
Cute dress, from my all-time favorite store!

Not sure how this looks like pjs....I think it's super cute!
Haha kids really say the funniest things sometimes! I think there's zero resemblance to pjs...maybe they're confusing it with a floral nightgown?! I think the dress is adorable!

I love, love, love this dress! When I was teaching one of my students ask if my necklace charm was a brain... so you never know what they are going to ask!
@ Suz - Ha! Yes...it IS a little House-on-the-Prairie-ish! That is exactly what it is... Love it.
@ everyone - THANK YOU for leaving comments. I am glad (relieved?) that most of you like the dress okay. We all have fashion hits + misses...and I sometimes need a little perspective from all of you!

All I have to say is...if these kids think these are pajamas....their mom's must certainly get dressed up to go to bed! It's adorable!
i adore the blue and tan colour choice of your outfit , they suit so well! thanks for sharing hun =D

No way the dress is adorable and looks great on you. Kids do say the strangest things.
I remember reading about the PJs thing from your earlier post. NO WAY does this dress look anything close to PJs! {When I first read the story, I was thinking that you may have been wearing a maxi dress!} Anyways, it's a cute dress and love the cognac accents!
xo, sam
If those are PJs, they are the trendiest/cutest PJ's I've ever seen ;)
Kids are funny, LOL...anyway you do look good in this dress, the color is fantastic ! Keep it up !

I LOVE that dress! And kid stories are the best!
While I don't think it looks like pajamas, it's not my favorite outfit of yours. Sorry.
@ Le-Ann - don't apologize! I honesty want everyone's opinion! :-) Thanks for leaving a comment :-)
Hi thank you for stopping by on my blog :)
I love your dress, would like to own it haha :p
For the ability to reply you need to install the templates made by blogger (the basic ones) so it means you can't have it with the premade templates that's why I changed mine hope it helped :)
OMG! That is too funny! : ) No, you don't look like you have PJs on. It is a fantastic dress and you've accessorized just right!

I LOVE this dress! it looks so pretty on you! those kids obviously dont know a pretty dress when they see one!:D
Rachel
Ha! That is too funny! I think this dress is super cute - and I'm sure their parents' pajamas aren't this fabulous. Kids are funny!
I can see how a child would confuse your dress for sleep/lounge wear. It resembles what my grandmother calls a housecoat or muumuu. Maybe add a cute blazer to the outfit next time.
Haha, well, I've certainly never seen pajamas like this before!
Personally, I like the dress. Cute floral print on it :)

Oh my gosh, that is seriously SO SO SO funny! I LOVE that dress, I think your little kiddos don't really know what pajamas look like. Ha ha, one time I wore leggings and a dress to work and this 50 years old guy came in and asked if I was in my lingerie in front of all my coworkers! Embarrassing HUH!??? Oh my, SO funny! Thanks for your sweet sweet comment on our baby news the other day, you are so sweet! Love your blog and can't wait to keep reading, new follower :)
I love it!
i love it (your student's funny remark and your dress, gorgeous!).
Haha kids are funny! I don't think your dress look like pajamas at all. lol!

Hehe so cute! No i dont think you should put this dress away. You look lovely in it and I'm sure its very comfy too.
This dress is adorable!!
I love the floral print and it looks nothing like PJ's. I think of oversize tshirts and sweats resemble PJ's more than a dress.
